COLUMBIA, MD – Berkshire announces its fourth Service Release (SR4) of BALANCEaap. The release includes the new EEO-1 schedule and the race code table consistent with the 2007 EEO-1 report requirements.

BALANCEaap is an affirmative action software solution that provides an automated way to build OFCCP compliant affirmative action plans. The application produces plans that contain all reports required by the OFCCP, including adverse impact analyses, narrative sections, VETS-100 and EEO-1 Reports.

Berkshire added the following features to BALANCEaap:

  • The new EEO-1 2007 schedule meets the latest changes to “Executive/Senior Level Officials and Managers, “ and “First/Mid-Level Officials and Managers” and is available for upload
  • Updated report module matching the EEO-1 2007 ethnic categories
  • Desk Audit Analysis to indicate which group is “favored” by analyzing average salary by race or gender
  • Expanded compliance report to analyze total compensation for Minorities or Females by grade or job title
  • Additional category, “two or more races,” added to the default race code reference table
  • Customized adverse impact reports by job title

BALANCEaap not only equips companies with the tools to meet the newest OFCCP guidelines, but also enables clients to: complete custom reports for update plans using the custom reports module, import reporting group settings from a previous plan, utilize a data paging option to display data screens more quickly, and access an added Plan Walkthrough guide which includes instructions for creating an affirmative action plan from beginning to end.
